Set in 15 acres of grounds, tranquil gardens and orchards lead to a lake and private woodland paths, perfect for leisurely strolls and a nature lovers paradise. Family owned for over 300 years, the chateau is a charming example of gracious 17th century manoir living. Lovingly restored, all the rooms in the chateau are individually furnished to an exceptionally high standard with antiques and authentic French fabrics and silks.

All six double bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with shower and/or bath which combine charm and modern comfort in equal measure. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the huge family kitchen complete with open log fire in the colder months. Fresh bread, pastries and homemade jams are available daily. Lunch can be served on the beautiful outdoor terrace in dappled shade provided by magnificent trees and shrubs, the air perfumed with climbing roses and lavender.

Dinners are served in the grand formal dining room in the light of silver chandeliers. A single menu changed daily based on traditional local cuisine can be offered at extra cost. One can relax and feel at home in either of two 'grand salons'. French windows lead out onto an elegant terrace with sweeping views across the valley. There is also a 'bureau' and a 'petit salon' with TV. A large private swimming pool nestles in the wild flower meadow.
